Thanks to a generous grant from ASPCA and Subaru Loves Pets, Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control is offering a free microchip clinic on Saturday, October 9th, between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Friends of SCAC know that sometimes dogs and cats get out, and we want to make sure they find their way home. There is nothing sadder than seeing a well taken care of animal at the shelter that is scared and just wants their family. With the help of the ASPCA and Subaru Loves Pets, we hopefully will be able to help more animals go home!
Microchips will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please have your dogs on leashes, and your cats safely contained in a crate.
