Free Microchip Clinic

 Thanks to a generous grant from the ASPCA & Subaru Loves Pets, Friends of SCAC distributed over one-hundred microchips to family pets in the Central Illinois community on October 9, 2021.

One of the greatest fears of any pet owner is being unable to find a lost pet. Having your pet microchipped is a great way to avoid the anguish of losing your best friend.  As a community service, Friends of Sangamon County Animal Control hosted a free microchip clinic for dogs and cats on Saturday, October 9, 2021. The clinic was held at Farm and Home West, located at 3030 Wabash Avenue, Springfield, Illinois 62704.
